A Lamborghini Gallardo was the centre of attraction on Monday afternoon when it caught fire on a busy road in South Delhi’s Badarpur area.
According to reports, oil leak was one of the major reasons for the car catching fire but social media was ablaze with some interesting reasons of its own.
The car was completely charred from the rear and its exhumed remains can be seen in various pictures now going viral on social media.
The owner of the car was taking the Italian beauty home after service but had to jump out of it as soon as he saw smoke coming out of the engine mid-way. The police have taken the car in custody for further investigation.
The Italian car-maker has produced and sold 14000 units which make it the best-selling car from the maker.
