The scarlet speedster is back and revving up for season 2 of The CW’s hit show The Flash. This season is already promising to be even bigger than the last. Last season saw a few of The Flash’s original comic book rivals including the Pied Piper, Captain Coldand Heat Wave but none of those match up to one of this seasons biggest villains.
Everyone’s favorite hypersonic hero should already be sweating because this season he’s facing off with a brand new challenger. The series has captured former WWE starAdam Copeland, also known as Edge to portray the classic DC villain Atom Smasher. Odds are he won’t be getting to the end of this chapter without more than a few injuries.
For those fans unfamiliar with Albert Rothstein, better known as Atom Smasher, this villain has super strength and the ability to grow up to 60 feet! In the New 52 he is responsible for assembling the new Suicide Squad (not to be confused with the original squad which will be appearing in theaters very soon!).
