Amy Jackson made her Bollywood debut with Ekk Deewana Tha and went on to be the country’s favourite crush for the longest time. She later featured in films like Singh is Blling and Tutak Tutak Tukiya. More than Bollywood, Amy left a mark in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industry.
This was from Jackson’s outing with boyfriend Ed Westwick. Amy looked absolutely different and many noted that she resembled Irish actor Cillian Murphy. Her cheekbones, light eyes and open-mouth expression reminded fans of Thomas Shelby, one of Cillian’s popular characters from Peaky Blinders.
Several users took to the comment section and dropped their hilarious thoughts.
One user wrote, “Cilian murphy doppelgänger, can’t unsee this”. Another said, “You were great in Oppenheimer”. The third one added, “Cillian Murphy hacked her ID”. The fourth commented, “Tommy Shelby looks good in red.”. The fifth joked, “Oppenheimer girl version.”
Captioning the post, Amy wrote, “Might’ve been late to the LFW party but we went in out with a bang. PERFECT magazine party”
Amy is currently dating Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick after breaking up with George Panayiotou.
From her first relationship, Amy also has a son Andreas. Talking about how she prioritises him, she once told TOI, “My time is very precious, and I’m very selective about the projects I work on and the people I collaborate with. I’m very specific about where I put my time and my energy since my son is my priority.”
For those who don’t know, Amy works closely with rehabilitating the victims of domestic violence.
She once talked about the same and revealed, “What I’ve learned is that the attitudes of men and women towards gender equality take root at a young age. So, teaching empathy, compassion, and kindness is the number one rule for raising boys today. I talk about everything with my son, and I want him to be able to talk to me about anything. Communication is a must in a mother-son relationship.”
Cillian Murphy’s recent success feat.
Cillian was last seen in the blockbuster film Oppenheimer. Directed by veteran Christopher Nolan, Murphy played the character of ‘father of the atomic bomb’ Robert J Oppenheimer in the film. Also starring Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Emily Blunt and Florence Pugh, the movie went on to gross over $900 million worldwide.
